How To Tell If Your Dog Has IVDD: Common Symptoms

"IVDD is a condition where the cushioning discs between the vertebrae either bulge out or burst into the spinal cord.  This then presses on the nerves in the spinal column, causing pain or even paralysis." (webMD.com) 
Common symptoms you may notice in your dog include:
Pain and weakness in rear legs

Loss of appetite and low activity level

Muscle spasms in back or neck

Hunched back with tense muscles

Anxious behavior

Sensitivity to touch
