Our dog has a partial ACL tear.. The custom brace has given him the additional support that he needs. He is able to do most everything that he likes, and he is very content. For those of you that have a doodle breed, you will be very pleased. They stay very active for most of their lives. Since he is 11 we decided not to put him through the surgery. The cost and the after care was something that we were not able to do. We are very glad that we ordered the brace. We even ordered a spare so that we can accommodate the unpredictable New England weather.

The brace fit well. Recommend having a professional do the casting. The brace needed some modifications by us because the straps were too long / not adjusted to our dog's leg size. But the brace works great and she is walking full speed.

Overall very satisfied with the brace. But there is definitely room for improvement in the process. It took a fairly long time (6 weeks) for the brace to be sent after we shipped the mold. We didn't hear anything for a month but there was a response when when emailed asking when we could expect the brace. The brace arrived with NO instructions on how to apply or clean. The velcro straps were way too long, as if no one bothered to adjust them to fit the mold. Not wanting our dog to go without a brace for another extended period of time, we opted to perform the adjustments ourselves. That part was relatively easy and AOC mailed us the parts (foam button, etc) that we needed.
