      WHAT ARE DIGESTIVE ENZYMES?

      Digestive enzymes are tasked with breaking down your pet’s food so your pet can absorb the nutrients within the food. If your dog eats their food very quickly, the digestive enzymes have a lot of work to do to break down all the food for nutrient absorption. After some digestion in the stomach, food particles travel through the small intestine, and this is the point when the pancreas releases digestive enzymes to break the food down even more than it already has been.

      WHY DOES MY PET NEED A DIGESTIVE SUPPLEMENT WITH ENZYMES?

      A digestive supplement with enzymes could be beneficial for your pet. There are four main digestive enzymes that benefit your pet’s stomach. These enzymes are: protease, amylase, lipase and cellulase. These enzymes do naturally occur in some foods, but commercial pet foods require high temperatures to produce, which kills off the natural enzymes. Our digestive supplement has an enzyme blend that contains all of these enzymes so that they can be added back into your pet’s diet and help with their digestion.

      WHY WOULD I NEED A SUPPLEMENT IF MY PET IS EATING A HEALTHY, BALANCED DIET?

      Pet foods today can provide balanced nutrition, but some pets could be lacking certain nutrients or ingredients in their diet due to a medical condition, their age, or their breed. Supplements can help provide some of these nutrients to pets and promote better health.

Most supplements that are food-based are safe and can be used with other supplements and medications. You should check with your veterinarian if you are concerned about giving supplements with specific medications. 

      CAN THESE SUPPLEMENTS BE USED FOR CATS?

      Unfortunately, our supplements are currently only for dogs. Cats and dogs process supplements differently so it is not recommended to give your cat these supplements.

      Best Supplements!

      I've been giving my pup these supplements and have noticed she is going to the bathroom regularly and her stomach isn't upset anymore. My dog has struggles with skin issue due to sensitive skin and stomach and these have worked miracles on her tummy.

      Great supplement!

      Love that it has no strong smell, very easy to pick up and the size is just right. Dog loves it and his poop has been consistent and good!

      No more upset tummies

      My dog is a “grazer” and likes to eat whatever he can find in the backyard and on walks. He has a sensitive stomach so this can upset him. We’ve been adding these to his morning routine and he hasn’t been gassy.
