The Gnawty Bites Joint Flex Hip and Joint Dog Supplements are made to specifically target joints in dogs to improve motion and reduce pain. This soft chew supplement uses a high quality blend of ingredients that have been proven to aid in joint flexibility and movement. These dog joint supplements can be used as a preventative measure in healthy dogs and can be used to ease joint issues in older or injured dogs, such as those with IVDD or arthritis.

WHAT ARE JOINT SUPPLEMENTS?

Joint supplements contain blends of ingredients that help keep joints and structures surrounding them healthy. Some joint supplements may give results on one function, or on multiple different functions and work in multiple ways. There are three different types of joint supplements: those that help with nutrition and support of joints and bones, those that help in recovery and repair of damaged joints, and those that are used as preventative measures to help stop further joint damage. 

IS IT RECOMMENDED TO SERVE JOINT SUPPLEMENTS ALONG WITH PAINKILLERS?

This is not necessarily the case. Whether or not you should give painkillers alongside joint supplements is dependent on the specific requirements of your pet. Each pet has different needs and so all pets should not be treated the same way. Any further courses of action should only happen after you have consulted with a veterinarian about how to move forward.

WHY WOULD I NEED A SUPPLEMENT IF MY PET IS EATING A HEALTHY, BALANCED DIET?

You should check with a veterinarian or the manufacturer of the supplement for expected length of time before results should appear.

CAN SUPPLEMENTS BE USED WITH OTHER SUPPLEMENTS AND MEDICATIONS? 

It’s always best to check in with your veterinarian before you give your pet multiple supplements or medications concurrently. Most supplements that are food-based are safe and can be used with other supplements and medications. You should check with your veterinarian if you are concerned about giving supplements with specific medications. 

CAN THESE SUPPLEMENTS BE USED FOR CATS?

Unfortunately, our supplements are currently only for dogs. Cats and dogs process supplements differently so it is not recommended to give your cat these supplements.

Works Great!

My dog suffered a muscle tear in his right hind leg. The brace fits him well, and he's able to enjoy himself as he runs and walks with a limp.

Love Gnawty Bites Joint flex

I love the Gnawty Bites joint flex for my dogs. Especially Daisy, she had a torn ACL and the vet said to do surgery. We opted to go with Animal Ortho for a fitted leg brace. Daisy wore that for 18 mos and is now pain free and healed from the tear. Amazing company to work with us to get the best fit for our dog.

Great for hips a day joints

The chews are good smelling, tasty for my pups, and are very soft. I use these for my pack of 3 dogs, and it helps keep them active and joints healthy. Works well for my young dog with his luxating patellas and helps my senior female sheltie with her hips, she stays active like a puppy! And she just turned 8. My 6 year old Australian shepherd mix is super active and loves to run. These give me ease of mind knowing he has a good quality joint daily supplement.
